What is your cancellation policy?

What is the check-in process?
When you arrive for your SUP PG rental or adventure:Arrive 15 minutes early so we have time to get you checked in, geared up, and ready to launch on schedule.Check in with our team using the name on your reservation. Please have a valid photo ID available.Complete your waiver if you have not already done so online. All participants must have a signed waiver before getting on the water.Confirm your rental details, including your paddleboard type, rental time, add-ons, and return time.Get fitted with equipment, including your paddleboard, paddle, leash, and any rental add-ons such as water shoes, coolers, speakers, or inflatable docks.Attend a brief safety and paddling orientation. We’ll review basic paddle technique, local waterway guidelines, weather/wind conditions, and safe launch and return procedures.Ask questions before launch. We’re happy to help with route suggestions, comfort tips, or anything you need to feel confident on the water.Launch and enjoy your time exploring beautiful Punta Gorda from the water!Please plan ahead for sunscreen, water, and weather-appropriate clothing.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing: valid id, sunscreen, and camera. All required safety equipment is provided.
How do refunds work?
Refunds: Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the credit.Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled rental/adventure may be eligible for a full refund or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, late arrivals, no-shows, or unused rental time are non refundable.If SUP PG must cancel due to unsafe weather, water conditions, or other safety concerns, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund. To request a refund or reschedule, please contact us with your name, booking date, and reservation details.
What if the rental is damaged?
Damage PolicyWe expect normal wear from a fun day on the water, and you will not be charged for minor scuffs or light cosmetic marks from regular use. A refundable security deposit may be held on your credit card before your rental begins and is released after the equipment is returned and inspected.What counts as damage? Renters are responsible for damage, loss, or excessive cleaning needs beyond normal use, including but not limited to:Punctures, leaks, cracks, deep gouges, or broken handles on paddleboards or inflatable docksBroken, bent, or missing fins, paddles, leashes, pumps, straps, or valvesDamage caused by dragging equipment over pavement, rocks, oyster beds, docks, or seawallsLost, stolen, or water-damaged accessories such as coolers, speakers, or water shoesDamage caused by misuse, neglect, improper transport, or failure to follow safety instructionsLost, stolen or product otherwise deemed as unusable will be charged at the replacement value of the product. Hard board $1100, inflatable board $700, paddle $300, PFD $100, Leash $50, Speaker $100, Coolers $300, inflatable docks $1000.
Are there age requirements?
Renters must be 18+. Minors may paddle when accompanied by a parent/guardian and with proper consent. A waiver of liability must be completed prior to all rentals by all participants.
Do I need a license or certification?
No license required for stand-up paddleboard or accessory rentals. Renters must provide a valid photo ID for age verification and complete a rental waiver before getting on the water.
What happens if there's bad weather?
Your safety comes first. SUP PG monitors local weather and water conditions in Punta Gorda before and during rentals. If conditions are unsafe due to lightning, storms, high winds, heavy rain, or other hazardous weather, we may delay, reschedule, or cancel your rental or adventure.If SUP PG cancels due to weather, you may choose to reschedule for another available date/time or receive a full refund. If weather changes while you are on the water, we may ask you to return early for safety.Florida weather can change quickly, so please check your phone for updates before your reservation. If you have concerns about the forecast, contact us before heading out and we’ll help with the best available options.
